Das „Texas Department of Transportation“ berichtete über
Schneeräumeinsätze in der Region Amarillo,Texas. Solche Einsätze
verursachen überall erhöhte Kosten. Wie weiter beobachtet wird,
verursacht tauender Schnee höhere Gefahr für Aquaplaning.
„Snow lays in front of concrete walls. Snow
removal efforts are continuing in the Amarillo metro area 23.01.2015.
Beginning at 1:00 pm. TxDOT maintenance crews will...” conduct a safety
operation to remove the snow that has accumulated along the center
medians of the two interstates. This operation will include a number of
plows riding in tandem, with TxDOT utility vehicles trailing the

Mal ganz davon abgesehen, das der Schnee auch vor Leitplanken liegen bleibt, wie auf den nächsten Fotos zu sehen ist, wie sieht es dann erst bei einer 115cm hohen "Super-Rail" mit Unterfahrschutz aus?
